Privacy

What we keep, what we don't

Short version: we collect as little as possible. No third-party trackers. No ad networks. No data sold.

What we store

  • Questions and answers you post. They're public — that's the whole point of the site.
  • A small anonymous cookie (ama_anon) so your votes and replies are tied to the same browser. It's a random string. We don't know who you are.
  • An admin session cookie (ama_admin) only for the site administrator.
  • Hashed IP rate-limit counters in Cloudflare KV, expiring within minutes to hours. Used to stop spam, not to identify you.

What we don't store

  • No browser fingerprints.
  • No third-party analytics, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel.
  • No advertising network IDs.
  • No selling of any data, ever.

Hosting

Everything runs on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1, KV, R2). Cloudflare may log standard request data (IP, user agent) for abuse prevention; see their privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

If you signed in with Google

(Coming soon.) We'll receive your email and avatar from Google. We store these so you have a profile. You can delete your account at any time, which removes your username and personal info; your public posts may be retained anonymously if they have replies attached.
