How long before a new routine actually shows on hair, three weeks or longer Explainer
Every time I change something I get impatient after two weeks and change it again, which means I have no idea what works. Roughly how long should I hold a routine before judging it, and does it depend on what I changed — is a shampoo swap faster to judge than adding a bonding treatment or a scalp product?

It depends entirely on what you changed, and splitting it this way stopped my product churn:
Change one thing at a time or the whole exercise is wasted.

Write the date and the single change in a note on your phone. It sounds excessive, takes four seconds, and it is the only reason I know which product caused what.

The one thing at a time part is where I always fail.
