Two years and forty automations later, which ones did you keep and which did you quietly delete
I counted forty automations last night and I could only justify about twelve of them out loud. My partner has started describing the lights as haunted, which is fair, because motion lighting in the kitchen turns off while she is standing still chopping. Before I spend another winter on this I want to know what survived in other people's houses. What earned its place and what did you delete without telling anyone?

I will defend kitchen motion lighting, because your problem is the timeout and not the concept. Fifteen minutes instead of two, plus a second sensor pointed at the worktop rather than the door, and it stopped turning off on people. The version everyone deletes is the version with one sensor and a ninety second timer.
