Kirkland kibble at Costco — is the low price the only reason people keep buying it? Dog
Two dogs, about 55 kg of dog between them, and food is the line item that keeps growing. A membership-store bag is roughly half what I pay now per kilo, which over a year is real money I would rather put toward the older one's dental work. What I want to know from people actually feeding it: has the formula been stable, how does it store once the bag is open, and did anything change when you switched? I have already ruled out grain-free after a long conversation with my vet.

Switched both of mine to save money and switched one back. The younger one was completely unbothered. The older one had loose stools for about three weeks, which everybody told me was a too-fast transition, except I took two weeks over it. Some dogs are just sensitive to a fat and fibre profile change, and no amount of slow transition fixes that. Budget for the possibility that it works for one animal and not the other.
