Is the Purple grid worth it if I already know I hate the sink of memory foam? Mattress
Budget is about $1,800 for a queen, side and stomach sleeper, roughly 70 kg, currently on a five-year-old all-foam bed that I am done with — I wake up feeling like I have to climb out of a hole and my shoulder aches. Everyone says the grid feels nothing like foam, which is exactly what I want to hear and exactly why I distrust it. I have already ruled out innerspring because my partner is a light sleeper and motion transfer was the whole reason we left our last bed. What does it feel like after the novelty wears off?

Politely disagreeing with the person above on one point. "Does not feel like foam" is true, but most of the current line has foam layers under the grid, so how foam-like it feels depends entirely on which model you buy. The thinner grid over thick foam felt far more familiar to me than I expected, and if you are running away from a sinking sensation you want the deeper grid, which costs meaningfully more.
