Practical: buy from somewhere with a physical store in your city even if it costs a bit more, because the warranty process is a completely different experience when there is a person you can go and stand in front of. I learned this on a claim that took nine months by email.

Coir gets dismissed but a good coir-and-latex layered mattress is well suited to that climate and is what my parents have had for over a decade without a dip. The problem with yours is that it is an unknown builder-grade one that has been compressed unevenly for years, not that coir is bad.
