It's $249.99 for the original one and I keep almost buying it. I want it for two-day work trips with a laptop, a tablet and a handheld, so on paper the tech organisation is exactly my use case. What I can't tell from reviews is how it carries when it's full and whether all those pockets end up being places I lose things. If you've had one past the honeymoon phase, what do you actually dislike about it?
The listing says 35L external and 25.5L internal, and that gap is the number to pay attention to. It isn't marketing weirdness, it's structure and pockets eating volume. Compare it to a 35L travel bag and you'll be disappointed. Compare it to a well-organised 25L and it makes sense.
Mildly against the too-many-pockets worry. The failure mode isn't losing things, it's that you develop a system and then cannot use any other bag without irritation. Eighteen months in and every other backpack now annoys me. That's a real cost and nobody puts it in a review.
Happened to me with a different brand. Organisation is a trap in the nicest possible way.
At $250 I'd also work out what happens if it breaks. Check the return window and warranty terms, and specifically what shipping a bag this size back from where you live actually costs, because that can be a meaningful fraction of the price and it turns a small problem into a decision.
It isn't a hiking bag and doesn't claim to be. If your two-day trips involve any real walking with it loaded, that's the axis where it's weakest, and it's the axis nobody films.
I bought it, used it four times, and went back to a 20L, because it turned out my actual trips are 'laptop and one shirt'. Buy for the trip you take, not the trip you picture yourself taking.

Year two. The pockets are real and I use most of them, but the honest downside is the weight before you put anything in it. It's a heavy empty bag and by the time it's loaded for two days you notice on a long walk to a gate. The organisation genuinely is built around exactly your use case — two devices and a handheld is the brief it was designed to.

Noticeably heavier than a plain nylon 30L, and it's the structure and hardware doing it, not the fabric. Pick one up in person if you get the chance, or be prepared to eat return shipping on a bag this size.
