6-star wanted level and an honor emoji in the leaked clips
Mechanics people have pulled out of the clips so far, with how solid each one actually is.
Strong, because you can see the interface: a six star wanted level, vehicle fuel, body deformation with parts coming off, weapon loadouts stored in a personal vehicle, an NPC interaction menu carrying options like Defuse and Warn, and stamina draining during physical effort.
The odd one is a small emoji face under the character icon in the corner, which reportedly turns to a frown after Jason attacks somebody. That is being called an honor or karma system. It is the least confirmed thing on this list and it is the one getting written about most, which is usually how it goes.
Also visible: police reacting to clothing and vehicle rather than to you as an abstract entity, a Dive prompt while swimming, and volumetric clouds during the plane flight.
The caveat that applies to all of it. A visible indicator is proof that an indicator exists in that build. It is not proof of what drives it, whether it survives to launch, or whether it does anything at all. Half the fun of a leak is reading a system into three frames of a corner of the screen.

The clothing and vehicle detection is the one that would actually change how the game plays.
If the police are tracking a description rather than tracking you, then changing a shirt or ditching the car becomes a real escape route instead of hiding in an alley until a circle stops flashing. That is a different chase loop entirely.

Agreed, and it makes the six stars read differently too. More stars may mean a better description rather than just more helicopters.
