Six months of sharing a bed and I have never slept worse — separate duvets or separate rooms?
Partner moved in in February. They sprawl, they turn over about ten times a night, and they come to bed at 1am while I'm up at 6. I now wake three or four times a night and I'm getting short with people at work. I don't want to make separate bedrooms into A Thing, so I want to hear from people who tried the smaller fixes first and whether any of them held.

Two single duvets on a double bed. It sounds like nothing and it fixed about seventy percent of the problem for us within a week.
Most of what wakes you when someone turns over isn't the movement, it's the duvet being dragged off you and the sudden cold. Once you each have your own, they can roll all night and your microclimate doesn't change. It's standard across most of Scandinavia for exactly this reason and it cost us the price of one extra duvet and cover.

Ordering one tonight. I hadn't separated the movement from the draught in my head at all and now that you say it, it's the cold that wakes me.

Second this. Also get two different tog ratings if one of you runs hot — that solved a fight we'd been having for years about the bedroom temperature.
