Chair under ₹20,000 in India that won't sag inside a year — what's actually holding up? Chair
Bengaluru, working from home four days a week, 78 kg, 1.75 m. I've been through two ₹8-9k mesh chairs from online marketplaces and both failed the same way: seat mesh stretched, armrests went floppy, all inside eighteen months. ₹20,000 is a hard ceiling and I'd rather buy once. Imported brands are out on price, so I'm asking about what's genuinely available and serviceable here.

Serviceability is the whole game here and nobody talks about it. Before you pick a model, ask the seller two questions: can I buy a replacement gas cylinder and a replacement seat, and from whom. The chairs that survive in India are the ones a local dealer stocks parts for, not the ones with the best listing photos and the most five-star reviews.

Six months of reading and nobody has said this to me. Thank you.
