Open plan lighting sets me off by 3pm, which accommodations actually got approved Work & School
Overhead fluorescents plus a window behind my monitor, and by mid afternoon three or four days a week I am in trouble. I have a supportive manager and an HR process that wants specifics rather than 'the lights are bad'. What have people successfully asked for, in words that got a yes?

Do not sleep on the window behind the monitor. Staring at a bright rectangle in front of a brighter rectangle is brutal, and rotating the desk 90 degrees costs nothing at all.
