Left shoulder clicks on overhead press but only on the way down Recovery
Audible click in the left shoulder as the bar comes back down from lockout, roughly at eye level, every rep. Right shoulder is silent. No pain during or after, no loss of strength, and I can press the same weight as always. Been happening for about three weeks and I've kept training through it. Is a painless click something to work around or something to stop for?

Painless clicking is common and usually not a big deal, but I'm not going to tell you it's definitely nothing from a text description — if it changes, starts hurting, or you lose any strength or range, get it looked at by a physio rather than asking the internet.
That said, what helped me with an almost identical eccentric-only click:
An asymmetry that appeared three weeks ago is worth watching, not panicking about.

Added face pulls and started warming up properly instead of jumping straight in. Click is still there but quieter, and I feel much more solid at the top.

The warm-up point applies to everyone over about 30 and nobody wants to hear it. Ten minutes of boring band work has kept me pressing for years.
