Hybrid watches with real hands — is the tracking any good, or is it mostly decoration? Buying Advice
I want something that looks like a watch at a dinner table and still counts steps and sleep. Budget to about $400, iPhone. What worries me is that every hybrid I've looked at has a tiny sub-dial or a hidden display, and I can't tell whether the sensors inside are the same ones as in the full smartwatches or a downgraded version. Anyone wearing one long-term — what did you give up compared with a normal smartwatch?

If you're looking at a hybrid partly for an ECG or a similar health feature, read the fine print on availability, because what's enabled varies a lot by country depending on what's been cleared where. Check it's actually switched on where you live before you buy specifically for that.
