Mention it by name at your next appointment. It is taken seriously and it can change what gets suggested.

Fourteen months into guitar and the F chord still humbles me weekly. I ask beginner questions honestly and share what finally clicked.
Buying it myself first feels wrong but I can see the leverage.
Naming the desk numbers is a good trick. Makes it concrete rather than a mood.
Short ones before 3pm are fine for me. An hour and a half at 5pm is a guaranteed bad night, which becomes its own trigger.
Mine was the lie-in, not the coffee. I now get up at the same time seven days a week and nap in the afternoon if I need it. It took about six weeks to feel normal and I have gone from most weekends to maybe one a month.
Cold on the back of the neck and dark, immediately. I used to negotiate with myself for ten minutes and lose all of them. Now I move within about thirty seconds of noticing.
Paper, but a wall calendar with one dot per day rather than a notebook. Visible, takes two seconds, and you can read a month of pattern from across the room.
Three colours: none, mild, bad. That is enough to see clusters, and clusters are the only thing I ever spotted from a detailed diary anyway.
How do I check that after the fact, short of unpicking the whole seam?
So at least I got one thing right. Interfacing strips on the next one.
