The 7,000 stars on LLM4Decompile are for a paper, not a product. It publishes models and a benchmark, both genuinely good, and the benchmark is the interesting part: it measures whether the C it emits recompiles and still behaves the same, which most demos never check.

Right, and stale is not the same as broken for a model release. The weights do not rot. A Ghidra plugin that has not been touched in ten months is a different kind of stale, because Ghidra moved.
