Add shell count to that list. Cheap helmets often use one shell across four head sizes, which means a small head carries a lot of unnecessary bulk and weight.

Whole-house if you plan to stay ten years, portables if you might sell inside five. The ducted one is not coming with you and it does very little for a valuation.
Fifty pint, gravity drain, off the floor on a paver so the coil is not sucking the coldest air in the room, and check the coil for dust in autumn. Mine has done six summers on that routine.
On the trial periods: read the pickup clause specifically. Several brands here will refund but expect you to get the mattress back to a collection point, and a queen in a compressed bag does not go back in the bag. Ask, in writing, whether they collect from the flat and whether there is a charge. The answer varies by city even within the same brand.
