Fabric pots or plastic on a west balcony that hits 38C in August Containers

Balcony faces west, gets sun from about 1pm until sunset, and the surface temperature out there was 38C last August. I am growing tomatoes, chillies and a courgette in containers, and I need to buy pots this month.…
