Chased this for two winters. Order that actually finds it, cheapest first: check the boot well and under the spare wheel, then the front footwells, then the pollen filter housing.
Mine was a perished windscreen seal, which put water in behind the dash where you cannot see or feel it. The footwells were dry the whole time, which is why I kept concluding there was no leak.
