I did the thing you are describing, a month late, to 51 people. Nine replied. That is a much better rate than anyone told me to expect, and the reason is almost certainly that the email was two sentences and asked one question.
What I sent, roughly: you signed up for X and did not carry on, I am trying to work out why, what stopped you. No pitch, no offer, no link.
The four most useful answers were all versions of the same thing and none of them were about price.
