That is why the lookup call is the good half. You cannot fake a review count or a last update date, both come from Apple. The claimed number tells you what to go and check, the store tells you whether there is anything to check.

The 2021 one is the interesting row on that whole list. Untouched for years, still earning, still listed. Whatever it does, it does without anybody maintaining it, and that is a far better thing to reverse engineer than the million a month.
Setting a passcode on an authenticator only helps if it survives a reinstall, and one of those reviews suggests it does not.
