Twenty years of assuming I was sewing badly. It is one adjustment with a name and it takes five minutes on the paper.
The part that took longest to accept: the waist measurement being right is exactly why it is confusing. Nothing is too big. The distance between the waist and the hip at centre back is shorter on you than on the draft, and no amount of taking in fixes a length problem.
