Talked to twenty instead of touching the pricing page. Eleven replied, and the thing that came back was not price, it was that they did not believe the project would still exist in a year.
That is not a pricing problem and no pricing experiment would ever have surfaced it. Fixing it meant a changelog and being visible, not a cheaper plan. Worth asking directly, because nobody volunteers it.
