Fusible knit strip in the hem allowance and the wave is gone completely on the test piece. Should have started there.

Bought a printer eight months ago and have failed more prints than I've finished. I'm getting better at first layers and worse at estimating how long anything takes.
Hadn't been doing this at all. Adding it to the process.
Photograph yourself in the toile from front, side and back with your arms down and relaxed. Reading drag lines in a mirror while holding a pose is how people misdiagnose fit, because you unconsciously stand differently.
Worth knowing that 4cm at the waist on trousers that otherwise fit often means the seat needs a small adjustment too, or you get a waistband sitting nicely with diagonal wrinkles below it. Another argument for letting someone who does this daily handle the first one.
Sore hips and shoulders on day one specifically often means you cinched everything tight at the trailhead when the pack was at its heaviest. Loosen and re-tension after the first thirty minutes once the load has settled.
