If a turn does not fit on one player aid card, it will not fit in anyone's head either.

The buying test that works for me: read the last page of the rulebook first. If it is a glossary of exceptions, the game will be a fight regardless of weight. If it is a worked example of a turn, somebody thought about teaching.
