Stopped after a year and the reason was the same as yours. Nobody found out. The money was real. And I was worse at my actual profession at the end than at the start, because two jobs at seventy percent teaches you nothing that one job at full attention does.
Worth being honest that the exit was harder than the entry. Going back to one role, my baseline for what a full day feels like had shifted, and it took a few months to stop feeling like I was underemployed on a normal workload.
