Block the recovery morning in your calendar in advance. It is far easier to protect a slot that already exists.
Do not sleep on the window behind the monitor. Staring at a bright rectangle in front of a brighter rectangle is brutal, and rotating the desk 90 degrees costs nothing at all.
Did the naps cause problems of their own?
Three weeks each and change one thing. Better than my current plan, which is changing everything for four days and giving up.
Note the time the aura starts, every time. Over a few months you may see a pattern in the hours or days you would not otherwise spot. Mine were disproportionately mid-morning after a late night.
Templates for the bad days are underrated generally. Mine covers work, my partner and my parents.
Record the days you took something and how quickly, too. Mine showed I was waiting an average of two hours, which was its own finding.
Baste with a water soluble glue stick rather than pins. Pins let rayon shift about a millimetre each and it adds up over 40cm.
I definitely do the arguing thing. Sometimes for a full minute on a card I half know.
